lalala new post?

passwords etc.

July 8th, 2008

Well, I can’t get this theme to work behind password protection.  The next thing to try is just to pw protect a whole folder, then have an installation of WP down on the next level of the folder.  Ideally, that would make even direct links in to posts and comments come up behind the wall.

This theme is great, but I wouldn’t want my students’ working drafts and comments about those drafts out where everyone could see them.  But putting the whole thing in a pw-protected folder and giving the whole class the pw seems completely within scope.

I’ll try it later today or tomorrow.

If this works, we’ll be able to forward email to the blog that we want
to think about later, and we’ll be able to post random thoughts to the
blog just by emailing to it.

Asking students to engage community

November 10th, 2007

Nancy Dejoy’s book, _Process This_, asks students to engage in the work of the discipline of composition.  More later on this; I’ll get some quotes in and full cite.

We could actually make a bib page as we go by making it a Page instead of a Post.

hmmm.
